For the 4th of July this year we are going to the beach with a bunch of friends (VA Beach). We will be making a day of it and i'ts going to be hot so we will definitely need water. I thought it would be fun to dress up the average water bottle with a presidential cover. I went to the white house website and found the presidential pictures as well as which number president they were and which years they served. I then put together these slips using Microsoft Publisher
Each slip has the presidents photo, which number he was, the years he served and a quote from him. It was fun picking out which quotes to use (John Adams' quote was: "I must not write a second to you about politics, because you are a woman.") and I learned some things along the way.
So, instead of providing markers for everyone to write their name on their water bottle, we can simply yell out, "Have you seen my bottle, I'm George Washington."
Also! Remember to share my blog on your facebook page so that you can win tomorrow's $5 Friday goodies!! For me information click here. Today is the last day to enter!!
