The first

So, this is my first blog. I feel like Creed from The Office! Fortunately though, I think I know the difference between Notepad and an actual Blog.

This past weekend was one of the best we had in a while. My parents gave John and I a trip to the Eastern Shore for Christmas and we stayed in a beautiful loft Friday and Saturday night. While we enjoyed some great food, shopping, and sunsets, for the most part we just enjoyed each other. It's good to get a way every now and then and spend some quality time with your spouse-and I think John and I should do more of that. Sunday afternoon we drove from the Eastern Shore to Massanutten and met up with friends Craig and Jesse, and Adam and Lindsey. Spending time with good friends is always a blessing and we had a great time. I am very blessed for the friends I have in my life. We enjoyed it so much we're going to do it all over again next weekend!  Well, that's all for now I guess. We'll see how often I write these things, and if anyone actually reads them!
