I LOVE to read. I feel like there is no greater return on investment than reading a good luck. I try to read books where by the end, I've learned something new about the world, or about myself. Just last week I finished a great book, it was SOOO good. It is by ML Stedman and the title is: "The Light Between Oceans". The link is below and you.should.get.it.now.
But I'm going to warn you...you'll be
1. Sitting in the stands at your kid's soccer game
2. On your ipad during a sermon at church
3. Anywhere where you're not completely alone.
I recently put together a book-list on Facebook. A friend of mine did this and I thought it was a great idea. I created a 'note' that I can update throughout the year with all the books I've read. I'm excited about getting to the end of the year and seeing how many/what types of books I've read.
So far this year I've read:
- The Racketeer-John Grisham
- The Broker- John Grisham
- The Light Between Oceans-ML Stedman
- Absolute Power- David Baldacci
- Water for Elephants- Sarah Gruen
Another friend of mine told me about a great site called: What Should I Read Next You simply go to the site and input your favorite titles or authors and hit search. The site then generates a list of books that you might enjoy based on what you entered. Isn't this a great idea?! I wish I'd thought of it.
What are some of your favorite books or authors?
