Crab Stuffed Mushrooms!

Crab Stuffed Mushroom Recipe

I've never concocted my own recipe before...It always seemed kind of scary to me. (Now I HAVE frequently guesstimated when's a rule of mine to not bother measuring anything under a tablespoon or to leave ingredients out because I don't have them and am too lazy to run to the store...but alas this is not the same as creating my own recipe..or is it?)

But...I gave it a shot with these crab stuffed mushrooms.

  • 12  Large White Mushrooms
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 lb of lump crab meat
  • 2 TB of butter
  • 1/2 TB of Old Bay
  • 1/2 TB of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 2 TB of Mayo

1. Cut the stems off of your mushroom and discard.
2. Spoon out the center of the mushroom so that you have enough room to stuff them, save what you spoon out and place in a mixing bowl.

3. Combine the mushroom pieces with the remaining ingredients until mixed well.
4. Stuff your mushroom!
