Step 1: I found a template for an elephant online and printed it off. Then I traced it onto my fabric two times. I also cut out the ear and eye from corresponding green polka dotted fabric.
Step 2: Then I ironed all my fabric and also ironed on heat bond adhesive to the back of the eye and ear so that they would stick to the orange fabric (this also provides an extra layer of sturdiness). Once this was done I pinned the two pieces front to front and sewed around the edges, leaving about a 1 1/2 inch opening
Step 3: Flip your elephant right side out and fill it with batting, being sure to reach all the crevices.
Step 4: Hand stitch the opening that you left and you're done!
Let me know what you think :)
