So Lilly's birthday party is exactly one month away which means that party planning is in full swing! Here's what I've done so far:
I made the banner out of remaining paper that I had left over after making the invitations. (To see how I made the invitations click
here)The ribbon is from my sponsor
Shop Thinking of U. They also provided the ribbon for the invitations. All their ribbon is excellent quality and absolutely adorable!
The washi tape jars (see that post
here) are currently filled with striped pink and green straws which I found on Etsy. They fit perfectly through the daisy-cut mason jar lids I found through a company called
Candle Soylutions, Candle Soylutions offers a wide variety of cut mason jar lids as well as other containers, labels, and packaging materials. (Be sure to check out their website because they have a TON of great items) The lids I purchased were pewter but they have other options as well. The daisy cut lids are very popular right now and a number of stores sell them. I did a LOT of searching on Etsy as well as on other sites but Candle Soylutions was by far the lowest price, and I LOVE how they turned out! Once I get a hold of the mason jars (currently in my mom's attic) they will be filled with pink lemonade. I'm so excited about seeing the finished product!
I'm planning on serving all the food in old produce baskets (like in the picture below)
Beside's making all the food I still need to work on finishing up the favors and adding some more decor to the back yard/patio area. Can you think of anything I might be missing?!
Looks great so far! I love the banner!
