Last night we had the following recipe for dinner, along with brown sugar baked chicken....It was so good!

Crock-Pot Brussel Sprouts: (My own concoction)

1 pound brussels sprouts
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Dijon mustar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup water
1/2 Tablespoon of maple syrup

Wash and trim your brussel sprouts. Cut them in half and place in your crock pot. Add butter, mustard, salt, pepper, syrup and water. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.

Such an easy recipe and they were so good! They were just browned enough around the edges and the maple sugar added a nice sweetness. I think brussel sprouts are my new go to vegetable :)

  1. Never thought about cooking these in crock pot. Were they mushy at all?

    1. No, as long as you stay within the time frame :) They were excellent!

  2. Just cooked brussel sprouts for the first time last week. Love the idea of doing them in the crock pot. Will definitely give it a try.
I'd love for you to come over and share at Finding the Pretty & Delicious Linky Party.
